Parco del Delta del Po - Stazione 1

The Volano – Mesola – Goro station is the northernmost part of the Po Delta Park in Emilia-Romagna, covering over 12,000 hectares.

The land has for the most part been reclaimed from the water by hydraulic engineering over the centuries, and its artistic and natural gems are highly prized.
The Po di Goro forms the northern boundary of this station for about 20 km.
Notable features are the Sacca at Goro, the mouth of the Po di Volano, the wetlands of Valli Bertuzzi, Cantone and Nuova, and the Gran Bosco della Mesola.
