Dog walking areas

To ensure the well-being of animals and provide safe spaces where they can run and socialize, the Municipality of Comacchio has created several dog walking areas.

Two of these are located in Comacchio:

• Villaggio Raibosola, between Via Barina degli Angeli and Via Bocca della Punta, has a fenced area of about 400 square meters, perfect for short stops and playtime.
• Via Spina, between Via Rinascita and Via Spina, has a spacious green area of approximately 5,500 square meters, which is also fenced and enriched with hedges and trees that provide shade and coolness on summer days.

In addition to these, there are two other areas designed for those who live or stay on the coast:

• in San Giuseppe, inside the public park on Viale Imperiali, a 700-square-meter area has been created, completely fenced in;
• in Porto Garibaldi, next to the public park between Viale dei Mille and Viale Calatafimi, there is a 500-square-meter area where dogs can move around freely and safely.
• in Lido delle Nazioni, Via Santo Domingo.
