A cycle route of about twenty kilometers that connects Lido di Spina to Oasi di Volta Scirocco, crossing a mosaic of water landscapes and unspoiled nature. It is a slow and evocative route, ideal for those who want to discover the authentic beauty of the Comacchio lagoons while cycling in harmony with the environment.
The route starts from Viale degli Etruschi in Lido di Spina. Once you reach the Gobbino Canal, turn left and follow Vene di Bellocchio, a recently formed wetland where it is not uncommon to spot herons and pink flamingos.
After about 3.7 km, you will cross the underpass built under the SS Romea 309 road, which allows you to continue safely towards Stazione di Pesca Bellocchio. This place represents a meeting point between tradition and nature: an area of great environmental and cultural value, linked to the historic fishing activities of the lagoons.
A little further on, the route takes you along Argine degli Angeli, a narrow strip of land that winds its way between the waters of the lagoons, offering views of extraordinary tranquility and direct contact with the lagoon ecosystem.
The itinerary crosses Valle di Lido Magnavacca and Valle Furlana, ending at Oasi di Volta Scirocco, where the landscape opens up onto the horizon of the Delta, between calm waters and the flight of migratory birds. From here, you can continue along the banks of the Reno River or return to Lido di Spina following the same route.

Both sections are part of the wider Anello delle Valli cycle route, which runs along cycle paths and mixed-traffic sections, allowing you to circumnavigate the entire Comacchio lagoon system
The Argine degli Angeli
The name is inspired by Dosso degli Angeli, an ancient and large sandbank in the Comacchio lagoons, which is no longer visible and is now lapped by the embankment path between Valle Lido di Magnavacca and Valle Furlana. Along this incredible route suspended over the still waters of the Comacchio lagoons, countless birds accompany visitors along the way: such a large number of birds that the name chosen unanimously by the Executive Committee of the Po Delta Park is perfectly suited to this unforgettable journey, which is like a gentle flight over the lagoon.
