Among these, the majestic Ponte dei Trepponti, symbol of the city, the evocative Ponte degli Sbirri, Ponte di San Pietro, which overlooks the district of the same name, Ponte dei Sisti, also known as Ponte della Pitagora, and finally Ponte del Carmine and Ponte Pizzetti, guardians of the timeless charm of the historic center.

A walking tour along the most beautiful bridges of Comacchio, following the history of the lagoon city.
Comacchio is the most original and fascinating historic center in the Po Delta. Heir to ancient Spina, it was built on thirteen small islands completely surrounded by the waters of its lagoon. Even today, it is shaped by water and a dense network of canals and bridges connecting the neighborhoods, which are characterized by pastel-colored terraced houses.
The itinerary starts from the monumental Trepponti bridge, symbol of Comacchio and gateway to the city for boats arriving from the sea. Walking along Via Pescheria, you reach the Ponte degli Sbirri bridge, next to the ancient prisons where the fiocinini, the poachers of the lagoons, were once locked up.
Continuing along the canal on Via Agatopisto, you come to the Ponte di San Pietro bridge, overlooking the old working-class neighborhood, now reborn thanks to careful restoration. Crossing the Ponte dei Sisti bridge, the route continues along Via Buonafede to the imposing Ospedale degli Infermi, now home to the Delta Antico Museum.
Following Via Edgardo Fogli, you reach Loggia del Grano and Torre dell’Orologio, once the heart of city life. Along Via Cavour, you cross Ponte Pasqualone and Ponte Teatro, until you reach the Carmine district with Ponte Carmine and Ponte Pizzetti.
The route ends between Via del Rosario and Via Muratori, where the water once again guides your steps towards the majestic Trepponti, the starting and ending point of this journey through history and reflections of the lagoon
