The church, dedicated to Saints Vito, Modesto and Crescenzio and dating back to 1027, was built on the remains of an older building.
During the centuries XII-XIV it was part of the Ravenna Dioceses. The bell tower dates back to 1228. In the XVII century it was deeply modified, but between 1925 and 1927 the old romanesque church was discovered and its original aspect was re-established. It has three naves separated by round arcades and three apses. It is one of the few examples of romanesque architecture still existing on our territory and for that reason the site of several ceremonies.
