Oratorio della Beata Vergine dell'Olmo
A pilgrimage destination, the church was inaugurated in 1666 near a centuries-old elm tree. A small plaster image of the Virgin Mary was placed there, to which miraculous powers were attributed.
The church is oval in shape and the interior is welcoming and simple with touches of color provided by small stained glass windows. The Baroque ceiling features a fresco depicting a delicate image of Mary at the moment of the Assumption. The central altar is made of white marble and the ancient plaster effigy of the Madonna and Child is the focal point of this harmonious little church.
